DIY Hand Sanitizer

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cups Isopropyl Alcohol (99% recommended)
  • 4 tsp Aloe Vera Gel
  • 4 tsp Glycerine
  • 8-10 drops Lavender or any other essential oil you like; this is optional
  • Small travel size squeeze bottles

Instructions:

Mix the alcohol, gel and glycerin until thoroughly combined. Add the essential oils if you are using, but this is optional and is just for the scent.

Once blended decant into the small bottles to carry with you, use as often as required.

If you would like to use an oil with anti-bacterial properties to give your sanitizer a boost too then consider using one or a blend of the following oils:

  • Orange
  • Bergamot
  • Tea Tree
  • Peppermint
  • Eucalyptus
  • Lemongrass
