All Natural Doggie Shampoo

Essential oils can be harmful to animals, if not used correctly and in the right quantities. The all-natural doggie shampoo recipe below is formulated for a dog who weighs more than 60 pounds. If your canine friend is smaller you need to use a higher dilution, so add more water or carrier oil.

Also take note that this recipe is only for dogs and it’s not suitable for any other animals.

1/2 tsp Vitamin E (Pure)

1 Tablespoon Castile Soap

2 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

3 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil

3 Drops Chamomile Essential Oil

1-2 Drops Cedarwood Oil

1 Cup of water or carrier oil

Mix all the above in a glass jar. The shampoo will be more watery that the usual one, but you just need to use as normal. It won’t foam, but it will still clean your dog. This blend will deter ticks and your pooch will smell great for days.
